Our Family

Mommy
Hello, I'm Jenni, a wife, mother, and educator! I married my husband, Adam, in June 2008. We lived in Colorado but recently moved back to our hometown in Missouri to be closer to family. We had Wade, our first child, in December 2010. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Education and a master's degree in Educational Technology. I taught business/technology in Colorado for 3 1/2 years. However, now in Missouri, I'm enjoying the life as a stay-at-home-mom to take care of our son. I'm the detail-oriented organizer and record-keeper of the family that enjoys cooking, crafts, and caring for friends/family.

Daddy
Adam is the provider for our family who loves to joke and have a good time. He has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and is a project manager at a construction company. As a new daddy, he loves watching our son learn new things.  If he's not checking his fantasy scores, he's watching SportsCenter, a live game, or listening to ESPN radio. His project right now is finishing the basement to complete his ultimate sports lair.

Wade
Wade is our adorable son who loves to smile and play peek-a-boo.  Although Wade has endured health issues, including being ill, receiving therapy, attending numerous doctor appointments, undergoing lots of lab work, and receiving medications, he is a brave little warrior. He loves with all of his heart and is as strong as he can be. Anybody who sees Wade can attest to his cuteness.

  2. Hello,

I came across SDS Mommy while researching prominent healthcare organizations. I’m part of the awareness advocacy team at the Cord Blood Center. Umbilical cord blood has helped children survive over 80 diseases including leukemia, lymphoma, and anemia and is now being used in older patients. Our mission is to help others understand how they can benefit and help save the lives of sick children in need.

I’m happy to see you have remarkable resources here at sdsmommy.blogspot.com/p/resources-for-other-sds-families.html. Our team at the Cord Blood Center provides the latest up-to-date information and free resources for expecting parents. There have been over 35,000 cord blood transplants thanks to donors worldwide. With more awareness we can increase this number and further save the lives of children suffering from cancer and other serious illnesses. Do you mind including our organization cordbloodbanking.com on your page as well?

    Best,
